I’m so glad you’ve found your way to the help you need!  As family caregivers, it can be difficult to navigate the maze of doctors, hospitals, lab tests, and finances involved.  That’s where I come in.  There are lots of resources out there for patients and families, but sometimes those resources can be hard to find.  I am here to help you, the caregiver, to find the resources that you are staying up nights trying to find.  I also focus on helping you get the care that YOU need.  That’s right, caregivers need (not “want”…. but truly NEED) care, too!  In many circumstances I can help you find and understand the financial resources that may be available to help you better care for your family, and in some cases I can even help you find the money to help pay for my continued assistance.  Pretty neat, huh?   But first I want to be VERY clear that I am not a doctor, nurse, lawyer, therapist or financial planner; however I’ve helped countless families just like yours. I’m a family caregiver, just like you, who has dedicated my life to developing the expertise to help others in the same situation. As a result, I now serve on the Boards of several organizations working hard to help caregivers around the country, including a current appointment by the governor’s office to the Maryland Caregivers Support Coordinating Council. Our free consult will not be some fluffy sales pitch, nor anything of that sort.  We will start right out of the gate confidentially discussing what your ultimate dreams are for you and your loved ones in your caregiving situation. Then we will discuss what’s keeping you from those dreams. After that, we will work together to create a caregiving “road map” to get you to your ideal caregiving situation, including government and private resources that may be available to you.  These are not organizations that I work for, nor do I receive a “kick-back” from ANYONE.  I offer a sympathetic ear, and completely unbiased guidance to the many resources I’ve found across the country that help caregivers just like you and me.
